Moisture Retainers

Stockosorb: How Does It Work?

We offer Stockosorb organic polymers specifically designed to improve the capability of soils to hold water and plant nutrients in horticultural applications. Upon contact with water, the polymer crystals swell, absorbing hundreds of times their weight.

When added to the soil, plant roots grow through the polymer, where they are able to extract the stored water and nutrients as needed. This controlled release of water and nutrients aids plants in achieving optimal moisture conditions for maximum plant growth.
